Stroud Coppice

Stroud Coppice is currently managed by Freshwater Parish Council and maintained by the Parish Council Facilities Officer.

The aim is to create a space that provides a home for bugs, butterflies, and small mammals.Using a coppicing system allows for sufficient light so that the natural flora and fauna can flourish.Coppicing creates systems of natural paths allowing the local community access to enjoy the surroundings.We've recently installed bird feeders and squirrel boxes.
