Island Roads schedule of works for Freshwater Bay area.

Island Road Schedule of Works for the Freshwater Bay area. Timing of the works: • Localised pre-works are due to start 11th March 2025 for approximately 4 working days. • Works will take place during the day between 08:00 – 16:00. • The works will be followed by a second surface dressing treatment to the whole road during April/May (which will take approximately 2 hours) followed by a sealant approximately 4 days later (4 hours). Further information including dates will be communicated at a later date. • Advance warning boards with start and end date will be erected before works commence. Works Information • 08:00 – 16:00 (on each day / weekdays only) • Guyers Road, Freshwater – from Victoria Road to Gate Lane (area of works marked in red on the attached plan). Time of works Safety measures during works: • A 24-hour road closure will be required at all times throughout the works for safety reasons. • Vehicle access will be prohibited at all times within the area of works. • Only when it is safe to do so, resident access will be maintained within the road closure extent outside of the area of works. • Should you require your vehicle during the dates of work we would recommend parking in an alternative location. • “No Parking” cones will be placed out the night prior to works commencing. • Pedestrian access will be maintained. • Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
