ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Upper Princes Road from the junction with Clayton Road for a distance of 26 metres.
IMMEDIATE PRIORITY SAFETY DEFECT Drainage Works
DIVERSION ROUTE(S): The diversion will affect these streets: Court Road, Middleton, Bedbury Lane, Queens Road, Camp Road, Tennyson Road.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 08:00 hours on 5th March 2025, for a maximum period of five days or until works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Please be advised that the permissive path across Afton Marsh, running from Blackbridge Road and connecting to Public Footpath F36, has been temporarily closed while Gift to Nature undertakes improvement works at this countryside site. It is anticipated that the closure will remain in place for approximately four weeks, although this may be subject to change depending on progress of the works.
The gabion works at Spinfish are now complete. The area has been grass seeded (but we need some rain) and the path is now open for use.
