It has become necessary to close path of the coastal path called T31 (the section that runs adjacent to the Waterfront Pub) in order that investigation and repair work can take place to the seawall.  This means it will not be possible to walk along the seawall from Widdick Chine (path T33) to the front of the Waterfront pub.

At the current time it is estimated that the temporary closure may be needed for a few weeks.

To bypass the closed section:

Low tide use the beach

High tide path T33 (Widdick Chine), Cliff Road and path T32
